Checked 12 October 2026 by the team behind @DeFiGuardBot. Vendor comparison, not an independent review.
Short answer: @DeFiGuardBot and Otomato send Telegram alerts for an Aave position from a public address and are free for up to three wallets. DeFi Risk Monitor also alerts in Telegram, but it needs an account sign up and does not state its free limits. DeFi Saver is mainly a position automation tool rather than an alert service, so it is a different kind of product.
I run @DeFiGuardBot, so this is a comparison written by one of the vendors. Claims about the other services come from their own pages. Where a page is silent, the table says so.
The difference in one line: @DeFiGuardBot and Otomato take a public address, DeFi Risk Monitor wants a sign up, DeFi Sentinel alerts only in WhatsApp, and DeFi Saver is mainly automation rather than alerting. I read each vendor's own pages on 12 October 2026.
| Tool | Where alerts arrive | What it needs from you | Coverage | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| @DeFiGuardBot | Telegram | A public EVM address, no signature, no wallet connect | Aave v3 on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Base, Optimism. Beta: Morpho Blue, Compound v3, Spark, Uniswap V3 LP | Free for 3 wallets; Premium is a paid tier, price not stated here |
| DeFi Risk Monitor (defi-monitor.com) | Telegram, Discord | Address plus an account sign up | Aave V3 and Spark on Ethereum and Arbitrum; Morpho Blue, Compound V3 and Uniswap V3 on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base | Pro $4.99 a month for 10 addresses, Ultra $9.99 a month for 30; free tier exists, limits not stated |
| Otomato (otomato.xyz) | iOS and Android app, Telegram bot, web | A public address, "no wallet connect, no signatures" | "22+ protocols"; its own pages list different network sets | Free up to 3 wallets; paid plans not stated |
| DeFi Sentinel (defisentinel.app) | WhatsApp only | A wallet, ENS or Solana address | Aave on EVM and Kamino on Solana; "10 networks" claimed, none named | Free; limits not stated |
To try it: open @DeFiGuardBot, paste a public address, press Watch and set your health factor threshold with /setthreshold. The bot never asks for a signature or a wallet connection.
Two services from older comparison lists are not in the table. definotify.net no longer resolves in DNS, and its product now appears under cryptonotifycentral.com with no pricing or wallet details on the page. defialerts.xyz returns a Vercel "deployment not found" error.
Only @DeFiGuardBot publishes a check interval of every 15 minutes. DeFi Risk Monitor and DeFi Sentinel describe their timing as real time or 24/7, in words and not in minutes. A fast market can cross your threshold between two checks, and that is the cost of a 15 minute cycle. In our own test the alert reached Telegram within one cycle, with the amount of collateral to add or debt to repay.
Alert tools inform you. They cannot move your funds, and that read only design is deliberate. DeFi Saver does the opposite. Its pages describe stop loss, automated management of borrowed positions and "protect your position from liquidation" strategies. Automation of that kind has to be allowed to act on your position, so you take on a risk that an alert never carries. On the pages we read, DeFi Saver says TxSaver has no additional service fees and does not state the fee percentages for automation.
@DeFiGuardBot, DeFi Risk Monitor and Otomato all send Telegram alerts for Aave positions. DeFi Risk Monitor is the only one of the three that needs an account first.
Not for @DeFiGuardBot or Otomato. A public address is enough, and neither asks for a signature. DeFi Risk Monitor needs an account sign up and an address.
Yes. @DeFiGuardBot and Otomato are free for 3 wallets. DeFi Risk Monitor and DeFi Sentinel have a free tier but do not state its limits.
No. An alert tool only warns you. You still have to add collateral or repay debt yourself, so set the threshold with a margin.
@DeFiGuardBot defaults to 1.5 and accepts values from 1.05 to 2.0 on Free and up to 3.0 on Premium. A higher value gives you more time and more false alarms.
It does not repay debt or add collateral for you. It is not real time: positions are read every 15 minutes. It does not support Aave V4. It cannot cancel a liquidation: a fast move, a data provider outage or a late Telegram delivery can still liquidate a position. Health factor and dollar amounts are estimates from public on chain data, not financial advice.
